OCG/OCA October Tournament Concludes with a Strong Scholastic Finish and Tie for 1st in Quick

Thank you to all of the scholastic players who competed in the OCG/OCA October tournament! There was a 3-way tie for first place in the scholastic section, where Aidan G., Simon G., and Brandon N. all earned 4 points. Moreover, Simon and Brandon both gained impressive rating increases! Daniel H. won second place as the only player with 3.5 points, and finishing with 3 points were Andrew T., Avi G., Luke W., Pacey Q., and Rodolfo F. All of the remaining players received participation medals for the hard effort they put into their games. Congratulations everyone!

In the Quick section, Kai Tabor won first place with a score of 4 points, tying with Alex Zelner and Yilmer Guzman. Theo Slade, Yevgeney Postrehkin, and Martin Hansen each finished with 3.5 points, with Postrehkin (who was rated at least 150 points lower than his fellow placers!) winning the cash prize on tiebreaks.
